My commitment was born across my 13+ years of teaching experience.
Over the years, as an English Teacher, I’ve worked with an incredible variety of students, from 2nd generation immigrants to those newly arrived as well as many who’ve been in the US most or all of their lives.
…Each with their hopes of more seamlessly integrating into the work world, university life, and social sphere.
I focus on offering an online course that centers around the student, measures growth and performance from the student’s actual speaking and writing, and supports successful integration into native-English speaking environments.

Private Class attention at Group Class Prices

Each class is taught live by an experienced Teacher. And class sizes are kept small so individual students are afforded more time to speak and personal attention.

Teachers explain and discuss their feedback on student coursework and speaking weekly to ensure students understand the Teacher’s comments and know how to respond to Teacher feedback.

Once a week students attend an event or participate in an activity – online or in person – that places the student in a native-speaking environment

A learning tracker is built for each student. The tracker profiles the skills students are demonstrating mastery of through their speaking and writing, those that are missing, and those they need more practice with to improve and stabilize their learning.

The course framework is a project-based learning structure. Each student plays an active role in a collective class project that is customized around students’ individual goals and career paths/aspirations. Learning through Doing.

Student talk time is a central component of the class because we recognize the critical role it plays in speaking development. And that it is a primary goal for most students.

I was able to improve my speaking through engaging in full back and forth discussions on complex issues, speaking presentations that required research, required me to explain statistical data, and engage in extended peer to peer discussions.

I was an optimistic Beginner. I couldn’t speak or understand English beyond a basic level. However, by working with the program, I can now hold conversations in English about more advanced topics. I have been attending interviews conducted completely in English with scholarship boards.

Through the program, my ability to express my ideas and engage in conversations has continued to grow and I’ve recommended the course to a number of coworkers.

Thanks to this program, I’ve been able to be competitive and efficient in my professional environment, in my small business (online ordering) and also in building relationships with friends who live in English-speaking countries.

I have been able to increase my speaking fluency by getting lots of practice speaking and being challenged to talk about complex topics.
